Our STUCO students were in the spotlight this morning as they took over the morning announcements! From confident voices to big smiles, they did an awesome job keeping everyone informed and starting the day the Halstead way. Way to lead, Bulldawgs! 💛💙🐾

This week, her team returned with samples like pickle pizza, jalapeño grilled cheese, and Hot Cheeto chicken bites. Students tasted, rated, and shared their thoughts during a Q&A about the current menu. Child Nutrition left with some great feedback from our future food critics.
To celebrate their hard work and commitment, we enjoyed pizza with a special raffle where two lucky students went home with their choice of a bike or a scooter.
Way to show up and shine, Bulldawgs. Keep up the great work.💛💙🐾
Anna Rodriguez (KCCB) joined us on campus and spoke with students about the importance of keeping our city clean and how they can help maintain a beautiful community. We want to especially thank Mr. Gilbert for allowing his class to participate in this experience. We truly value opportunities like this to build relationships with our city partners and strengthen that connection because the future is Cove. It’s important for our students to see how they can get involved and support the community they will one day lead, while also becoming familiar with community members beyond the school setting.

Halstead's Carnival yesterday was a blast for every grade level! Even with the weather keeping us indoors, the gym was full of energy as students jumped on bounce houses, raced through the inflatable obstacle course, and took their best shots at the inflatable basketball dunk. What an awesome way to reward great behavior and end the day with unforgettable memories! 💙💛🐾

Yesterday, students from all grade levels took part in our cookie decorating event, and it was a huge hit. From colorful icing to creative toppings, our Bulldawgs showed off their imagination while enjoying a well-earned reward for making great choices.
Thank you for planning accordingly and ensuring timely pick-up.

✨ Glitter on your face or 🎨 2 fun tattoos for just $1!
Get ready to shine, sparkle, and sparkle some more this holiday season!
Don’t miss out on the fun, let’s make this season bright and merry!

Our Lost & Found has officially become a winter coat shelter. 🥶
If your child has been mysteriously “losing” jackets, hoodies, or sweatshirts, chances are they’re all hanging out together waiting to be claimed. Please check the Lost & Found before Friday, because cold weather + winter break = sad, lonely coats.

Learning has never tasted so good! 💛💙🐾
