Fairview/Jewell families,

At approximately 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, during dismissal, the administration at Fairview/Jewell Elementary School and the Copperas Cove Independent School District were alerted to a power line down in the parking lot on the Fairview side of our campus. We immediately enacted our standard response protocol and redirected our dismissal procedures in order to further ensure student and staff safety.

We have contacted the appropriate agencies to restore the power line to its appropriate position.

This line does not supply our campus with electricity, so at this time, there is no reason to believe that the school day tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5th, will be altered.

Should there be any changes to the school day needed, we will work to notify you all immediately.
